Members" News for the month of December

Hi everyone!  Hope everyone is having a good holiday season and staying warm.
Here's the lowdown on our Etsy metal team members this month- and don't forget to support the truly handmade craft during this gift-giving season!

Wendy Wetherbee (of Pure Dichotomy)  will be participating in the Pine Hill Waldorf School Holiday Fair. This is Wendy's second year to display her jewelry and art at this well attended, upscale, juried artisan showcase. Friday, December 5th, from 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm is an adult only shopping evening with live music accompaniment, then the show resumes on Saturday, December 6th from 10:00 am to 4 pm, and is open to shoppers of all ages. The Pine Hill Waldorf School is located at 77 Pine Hill Drive, Wilton, NH 03086.

Laura Bracken of Bracken Designs was honored to have her sterling silver necklace chosen by the stylist of the hit tv show The Vampire Diaries to be worn in a recent episode by lead character Elena. This follows on the heels of Laura's folded copper earrings being worn by the lovely Teryl Rothery (playing the character Grace) in two episodes of Hallmark Channel's tv show of Debbie Macomber's "Cedar Cove".
So awesome Laura!

L. Sue Szabo is showing work at a holiday show on Dec 5-6 at Hudson Gallery in Sylvania OH. This is conjunction with the city's Xmas evening stroll so if you're in the area, please stop by.

Shannon of rubygirl will be vending at Urban Craft Uprising in Seattle, WA on December 5th, 6th and 7th and at Crafty Wonderland in Portland, OR on December 13th and 14th

Sarah Hood's jewelry can be seen in the "Small Works, Big Presents: The Gift of Art" exhibition at the White River Valley Museum in Auburn, WA through December 14. “Small Works” showcases a juried selection of 77 small works by artists from Washington, Idaho and Oregon, combining mosaic, printing, encaustic, painting, jewelry, sculpture, ceramics and textiles into a holiday group show. Each piece is both small and affordable, in a variety of genres from abstract to figurative. Three of Sarah's "Seaweed" pieces are included in the exhibit. More information at: www.wrvmuseum.org

Andrea of Artigiano Jewelbox will be participating in an Artisanal Trunk Show in the Store at MAM, coinciding with December's Free First Thursday Night at the Montclair Art Museum in Montclair, NJ, December 4, 5–9 p.m. At Free First Thursday Nights, MAM invites the entire community for an evening of art and dynamic programming, including live music, tours, and interactive entertainment. For more information on Free First Thursday Nights and the Holiday Trunk Show, visit montclairartmuseum.org. Find a selection of andrea's work in the Store at MAM through the holiday season.

Have a safe and happy holiday everyone.  If you are looking for an Etsy Metal artist, you can find us by putting in "etsymetal team" in the search bar on Etsy.
